The Scorch Replacement Policy exists because we know how ironing works, and how sometimes it doesn't. While the MELIA cover was designed to be the last ironing board cover you'd need to buy, we understand things don’t always go to plan.

If your cover sustains accidental damage, we'll take 20% off your next one. Simply complete our Scorch Replacement claim form below, tell us what happened, and upload photos of the damaged cover. Once verified, we’ll issue your discount code so you get back to removing wrinkles.

What’s Covered

The following types of accidental damage are covered under the Scorch Replacement Policy:

• Scorch marks from direct iron contact or excessive heat exposure
• Tears from accidental cuts or snags during normal use
• Stains that remain after washing according to our care instructions

What isn't Covered

• General wear and fading from regular use. Some wear is expected over the life of a textile product.
• Damage resulting from improper care, including tumble drying or use of harsh cleaning agents
• Deliberate or negligent damage
• Covers that were not purchased directly from boredhome.com

How To Claim

1. Complete the Form: Complete and submit the form below, including your details, the original order number, a brief description of the damage, and clear photos for the damaged cover. The clearer we can see the damage, the faster we can make a call.
2. Verification: We'll review your photos and description, and respond within 3 to 5 business days. We're not looking for reasons to say no, we're looking to make sure the policy does what it's designed to do.
3. Receive Your Discount: If your claim is approved, we'll send you a 20% discount code to use on a new cover. 
4. Replace Your Cover: Purchase a new cover through www.boredhome.com using the discount code provided. The discount code is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Eligibility

Bored assesses each claim individually. We'll look at the photos, consider what happened, and make a fair call. The policy is designed for genuine accidents, not fair wear and fading, which the MELIA cover is built to handle. If something unexpected has happened to yours, we want to hear about it.
